Now, let’s begin with their cookie, which was a very tender take on the traditional chocolate chip. The cookie was warm, soft, and buttery, melting in your mouth with every bite. Their choice of Belgian milk chocolate augments the pastry’s suppleness, while adding a rich note of creamy cocoa to complete the flavour profile.

It is important, however, that this almost extreme tenderness may be the reason some may dislike the cookie. It denies the cookie that signature crunch that some enjoy so much, and renders it difficult to handle as it falls apart between the fingers.

I personally enjoyed the cookie and the service at the store. I like their design, their dedication to their craft, their menu, and their cookie variety. The only real gripes I have are that the seating area was quite confined, and the combo offer only includes one option for cookies and one option for coffee. I do not see why the combo cannot include other cookies of the same price, or charge extra for pricier cookies.
