I wish hotel management can improve the conditions in the hotel.

Location is very good in Azatita on front of train (tram) near to Raml Station

The service was respectable, but there are better options. The manager wasn’t very helpful. The breakfast wasn’t the best, but Dina was nice and helpful. The staff were fine and very helpful. Before you book, check your room because some rooms are comfortable and others aren’t the best.

The Delta Hotel was one of my worst experiences in Egyptian hotels in general, even if you’re forced to spend a night there. First of all, I’m a hotelier with years of experience, and the service is usually respectful because there’s no alternative (I’ll explain simply). I arrived late because I had an emergency, and check-in was easy, thankfully. I went to my room, and there was no working air conditioning, no TV, no hot water in the bathroom, no toilet flush, and no phone to order anything from room service. In short, it was a hotel in need of a hotel due to maintenance issues. I went downstairs to get ready for my trip exactly fifteen minutes after checking in. I returned at night to find they had prepared another room for me, thank you very much, but I wish they hadn’t. There was no refrigerator, no working TV, and no working phone. 😂 Thankfully, the air conditioning was working this time. 😂 Of course not! I went downstairs to speak politely and respectfully from 2 AM onwards, telling them I wasn’t staying and asking where the night manager was. So that he could return my money, 1500 for the night, which is not a small amount. Here the principle was not money, the principle was good service in return for the amount of money paid. There were no solutions at all. An hour passed and no one did anything, and in the end the worker told me, “Take your time, sir, there is no money except in the morning if we find out, and then I will also enter into another discussion with the sleeping management when it wakes up, God willing.” Of course, I did not waste any time, I called the tourist police, and because I understand, I did that, and honestly, I became. I was stunned by the speed of the response. A very polite and respectful person arrived, and if anyone asks, I’ll definitely mention his name because he truly deserves thanks. He went to great lengths throughout the entire hotel until he got me my full rights back, and with such courtesy, he even showed me another room. Unfortunately, I was already feeling down, especially since I was with my wife. I want to express my deepest gratitude to a man named Ibrahim who contacted one of the hotel partners. They had given him incorrect information, and he wanted to clarify some points, which, frankly, aren’t important to me because I understand what he’s saying. But my advice is, if you stay in any hotel anywhere in Egypt and feel your rights have been violated or you’re being taken advantage of, file an official report. Trust me, the Tourist Police won’t let you down, whether you’re an influential citizen or an ordinary person. This is what truly impressed me, and if I ever consider going back to any hotel, I’ll be confident that my rights won’t be lost. Finally, after a long day of suffering, I went to another place to sleep because it was late, and he called me. The hotel’s general manager apologized this morning, and thank you, but believe me, a real apology would be proper management. Everyone responsible for their shift should be present, as this is the true reason behind any place’s success. From my experience at this hotel, and as always, I offer advice about hotel experiences in Egypt: (Before you go, make sure you’ve chosen the right place so you don’t waste time). Thank you.

    ## Delta Hotel: in Alexandria A Terrible Experience
I’ve had some bad experiences in some hotels, but this one takes the cake. I’m a seasoned hotelier, and I know what to expect. Here’s what happened:

    ### Check-in Issues
    – I arrived late due to an emergency, but check-in was smooth.

    – However, my room had several issues:
    – No air conditioning.

    – The TV wasn’t working.

    – No hot water in the bathroom.

    – The toilet flush wasn’t working.

    – The phone in the room wasn’t working.

    ### Attempts to Resolve Issues
    – I went out for a bit and when I returned, they had prepared another room.
    – Unfortunately, this room also had issues:
    – No fridge.
    -TV wasn’t working.
    – Phone still wasn’t working.
-At least the air conditioning was working this time.

    ### Dealing with Staff
    – I spoke with the staff at 2 AM, asking to speak to the night manager to get a refund for the 1500 LE I paid for the night.
    – However, the staff wasn’t helpful, and I was told that I wouldn’t get a refund until the morning.

    ### Involving Tourist Police
    – I decided to contact the tourist police, and they responded quickly.
    – A respectful and professional officer, I couldn’t mention his name, intervened and managed to get my money back.

    ###Aftermath
-The next morning, the hotel’s general manager called to apologize.
    – While the apology was appreciated, I believe that the hotel’s management issues are the root cause of the problem.

    ### Conclusion
    – My advice to others is to research and choose hotels carefully to avoid wasting time.
    – If you encounter any issues, don’t hesitate to file a formal complaint with the tourist police.

The writer is expressing their disappointment and frustration with the Delta Hotel, highlighting the importance of good management and customer service.
