Iftar at Egy Gate!
”I had an absolutely incredible Ramadan Iftar experience at Egy Gate. The location is breathtaking, tucked right in the heart of Egypt’s historic and ancient landmarks—the atmosphere alone is worth the visit!
The food, however, was the real star:
The Mixed Grill: Perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of authentic flavor.
Rice Muammar: Truly exceptional! It was rich, creamy, and easily one of the best I’ve ever tasted.
The Desserts: A wonderful way to end the meal; they were fresh and delicious.
Thank you, Egy Gate, for a truly unique and spiritual Iftar experience surrounded by history. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality meal with a view you won’t find anywhere else.”

Egy Gate, located near the Pyramids of Giza, offers a competent experience, although it does not stand out for its gastronomic quality. The service is efficient, fulfilling its function without any particular flair. The food good but it is not particularly memorable. It’s a good spot for a practical break during the tour, where I would go back to eat without any problem.

We were brought here as part of our tour. The lunch was buffet style and we were very surprised by the variety and taste of each item we tried. Chicken, beef or fish all tasted great. With good appetizers and some desserts. Plenty of sitting space in this restaurant. Servers were fast and friendly.
