During our visit to present security proposals for the campus and to protect the female students before the male students, we encountered difficulties in dealing with the situation. It seemed as though there was an encouragement of laxity and a complete lack of oversight. There were no surveillance cameras, no security, and no accountability. Young men were using drugs inside the college, in addition to fights involving bladed weapons. Furthermore, some female students were verbally and physically assaulted, and these incidents were documented in official reports and police reports filed at the Sidi Gaber police station.
