The shop offers a beautifully curated collection of authentic handmade crafts from different regions of Egypt. It is a wonderful showcase of the country’s living artistic traditions. I especially appreciated its commitment to supporting artisans and helping preserve traditional craftsmanship while also encouraging contemporary expressions of Egyptian folk art.
Fair Trade Egypt was one of my favourite places to visit in Cairo.
The quality of the pieces is excellent, and I found the prices to be very fair considering the craftsmanship involved. If you are looking for authentic handmade objects rather than mass-produced souvenirs, this is an outstanding place to visit.
The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and never pushy, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Honestly, I wished I could have bought half the store. I highly recommend visiting if you appreciate traditional crafts and want your purchases to directly support the people who create them.

The best store I’ve been to ever! The mission is as beautiful and special as everything in store. Prices are truly fair and staff is beyond friendly and lovely. I visited a few weeks ago with my mom and now that we are home I wish I would’ve gone back a few more times!!

This place may be a little off the beaten path but well worth the treasures you will find! Everything is handmade by Egyptian people and by purchasing their goods, you help to support these people. Not only that, everyone will love the gifts you pick up from this place!!
They have carved wooden trays that are so nice and inexpensive. They have rugs, embroidered bags and shawls and scarves, they have jewelry bracelets, necklaces and earrings, all are one of a kind pieces and so lovely! I would recommend anyone to try to go!

This place is a real gem in the centre of Zamalek. The owner is so friendly and goes out of his way to welcome everyone and have a conversation with each person who enters the shop, and offers good advice and recommendations as well.
The products here are natural, great value and made by hand in Egypt. A must-visit for anyone visiting Cairo who wants to find good quality products/souvenirs at great prices!

My absolute favorite boutique in Cairo, Egypt!!!
I first saw it recommended online, and after visiting it myself, I discovered it was a true gem! Everything inside was beautiful—woven bags, earrings, backpacks, hats, etc. I even bought some as souvenirs to take back to family and friends.
If I ever have the chance to go back to Egypt, I will definitely go again!
The store is on the second floor, very close to the MRT station, and very convenient to get to! 👍
