Fish Market Marina

My tour guide Pierre brought us here for lunch around 12:30 pm on a Friday. We were able to pick a corner round table so we could enjoy the view. I believe we got very lucky because within 10-15 minutes all the tables were occupied. The restaurant caters to many tourists (small to large groups.) The grilled fish tasted fresh. There is a plenty of paid parking space available in front of the restaurant.

Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience. We ordered the jumbo shrimp (both butterfly and boiled), but both were very dry. The calamari, whether on the skillet or fried, lacked flavor and was overly rubbery almost impossible to chew. The fish kofta was alright, but the seafood pasta alfredo tasted awful. Given the high prices, especially by Egyptian standards, the quality didn’t match the cost. This feels like a place coasting on its reputation rather than delivering genuine value. I’d say it’s average at best and seems geared more toward tourists than offering an authentic dining experience worth the price.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Fish Market Restaurant in Alexandria is a great choice for lunch, especially with its beautiful sea view. We visited as a group and had a very good experience overall. Despite the place being quite crowded, the staff managed the flow efficiently and handled guests well. Many people were queued for tables, but having a reservation helped. Good food, a lively atmosphere, and a scenic setting made it a worthwhile visit.
