I’ve visited this place 6–7 times in the past 5 months. At first, it was the best Nashville fried chicken spot in Alexandria—great portions, amazing fries, good sauces, coleslaw, and a solid brioche bun.

But after a few visits, the quality started to drop. The atmosphere is also not great at times, with a tight space and occasional lack of AC, and it gets crowded during rush hours.

Recently, the food has been inconsistent: smaller chicken portions, fries often overcooked and not fresh, and even when I complained once, nothing changed. The bun also became smaller. On my latest visit, the chicken sandwich was still good, but the fries were poor.

Service has also declined—fewer items provided with the meal, and I had to ask for basic things like a spoon and wipes,There was also an order mix-up when I took food to go. The open kitchen didn’t look as clean as before while the prices keep going up.

Overall, it used to be excellent, but the quality has clearly declined and it feels like just another average fast food place now.
