Fokhara is one of the most calming places I’ve been too. Very therapeutic place it has such welcoming and amazing people. You’ll definitely learn a lot. I 100% recommend it without a doubt.

i had a very bad experience with fokhara. first of all the price is 2000/2400 for the 4 day course. that means 500/600 pounds per session. so i expect a full packed session. my first session it consisted of a very uninterested tutor, teaching us the hole technique. where u make a ball from clay then press ur finger in the middle to make a hole and press to make a cup or mug or bowl. that’s all we learned in 3 hours. she didn’t teach us how to attach things to our creations or the hatching techniques. we were done an hour later, she didn’t give us pointers or anything. and when we asked what next she said that’s it. second day we started learning wheel throwing, she was so uninterested in the lesson, some people struggled and were asking questions, our instructor would roll her eyes at the instance in addition to that when i asked her to help with something she literally did it for me instead of teaching me how to fix it myself? finally she decided it was just be easier for her instead of teaching to sit on her phone outside cause that’s where there is proper signal. if you are really passionate about this don’t go here you will be gravelly disappointed. if you are looking to waste ur money and ur time, sure give it a try.

One of the best places to go and learn something new. It takes you through all the stages to creating a pottery piece. Teaches you the basics and goes all the way up to wheel throwing. The instructor always makes the effort to give each student equal time and attention. definitely a recommended place!
