German Hospital, Alexandria

The German Hospital in Alexandria is an exceptional healthcare facility. From the moment I arrived with my Swiss friend ( Jakob) on October 8 in the emergency room after a serious car accident, we were impressed by the professionalism, compassion, and efficiency of the entire staff.
The doctors, nurses, and surgical team were incredibly skilled and attentive. They quickly assessed my friend’s condition, stabilized him, and (Dr Mahdy Hassanein ), orthopedic surgeon, performed a complex surgery on my friends broken tibia that same evening.

The medical report they provided was clear, concise, and written in English, making it easy for Swiss orthopedists to understand and share with healthcare providers in Geneva, Switzerland!
The hospital’s facilities were clean and well-maintained. The staff, from nurses, doctors, PR to the cleaning staff, were friendly and helpful. Even accountants were courteous and efficient.

Dr. Mahdy Hassanein is an exceptional surgeon. He performed a complex surgery on my Swiss friend’s broken tibia after a car accident, utilizing a Gref from his hip and a metaphyso epiphysesl plate with six screws. The surgery was a complete success, and my friend was able to start putting weight on his leg after just 6 weeks, as recommended by his orthopedic team in Geneva.
Dr. Mahdy’s skill and expertise are evident in the excellent outcome of my friend’s surgery. We are incredibly grateful for his care and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of orthopedic surgery.

I would also like to thank Dr. Omar El Khaligy for his excellent follow-up care and for removing the Redon drain the day after the surgery and the following days !

The nursing staff was also very exceptional, with special thanks to the nurse Hamida for her kindness and care.

I am truly grateful for the excellent care I received at the German Hospital in Alexandria. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone seeking quality medical care.

Misdiagnosed my sister’s appendicitis with a gallstone. They could not see a gallstone on imaging but said she had a gallbladder problem with jaundice. My sister’s appendix was bursted and they did not catch it on imaging. WORST HOSPITAL, WORST CARE IN ALEXANDRIA, DO NOT GO HERE WITH YOUR LOVED ONES OR YOU CAN EXPECT WRONG DIAGNOSES AND A WASTE OF MONEY, WHILE RISKING THE CARE OF YOUR LOVED ONES

one should wait too much time before entering to the doctor and someone recievs his calls, besides that there is not to much technical facilities for the dr. to work with wich makes the patien spend extra time and money in order to get data for his dr.. but still one of the best hospitals in that area.
