Giza Capital Hotel

If I could give this place zero stars, I would.
None of their rooms have the pyramids view.

After 24 exhausting hours of travel, I arrived at Giza Pyramid Hotel with a confirmed booking AND a personal confirmation from the hotel manager. You would think that guarantees a room, right? Apparently not here. On arrival, I was casually informed that my room was “not reserved.” Just like that. No accountability, no urgency, no attempt to fix their mistake.

Instead, I was fed a completely unbelievable excuse that there was “no electricity in the hotel.” Funny how a hotel can take confirmations but suddenly forget how to function the moment a guest shows up. It felt less like a genuine issue and more like a lazy, convenient lie to cover up their incompetence or overbooking.

Imagine being stranded after a long journey, tired, expecting to finally rest, only to be dismissed with excuses and zero solutions. No backup plan, no assistance, no apology worth mentioning. Just indifference.

This wasn’t just poor service, it was a complete failure of basic hospitality. If you value reliability, honesty, or even basic human decency after a long trip, avoid this place at all costs.

I came here from Turkey, and we are a society that is extremely particular about cleanliness. But the cleanliness here is beyond words. I’m going to give an honest comment, and honestly, whatever I say might still fall short. Please read until the end, it’s so good that I feel I owe it to write everything. It’s a wonderful hotel with wonderful people.
Before coming, I researched hotels extensively, and it was honestly a nightmare. I’m lucky I discovered this place. I had set a daily budget limit of $150, and even in those hotels, people complained about cleanliness. I came here hesitantly, fearing the photos might be misleading. But when I arrived, the sparkle you see in the photos? You’d almost think it was created in a 3D program like 3ds Max, but in reality, the photos don’t even do it justice, everything shines with cleanliness and freshness. Everywhere, everything is spotless.
I saw a sweet young lady cleaning another room, and the way she carefully inspected and arranged the beds, you wouldn’t believe it if you saw it. I woke up early in the morning, stepped into the corridor, and saw a gentleman wiping the walls and room doors. I was deeply moved and happy because of their attention to detail. Even the terrace tables and floors were cleaned so meticulously that I couldn’t believe it.
In the morning, I threw a few napkins into one of the terrace trash bins, and two hours later when I checked, it had already been emptied and a new bag placed, they even keep empty trash bins perfectly clean. I’ve never seen anything like this, friends. The beds and sheets are immaculate. At first, I thought the bed was too firm when I touched it, but thanks to them, I realized how comfortable a firm bed can be, if I can find one like it for my home, I will definitely get it. I slept so well on those beds.
Don’t expect a breakfast that would satisfy a very hungry person, but for us, it was more than enough, really good, and most importantly, spotless. Mashallah, may God bless them with abundance. Without a doubt, go with peace of mind, and please show the same care they do. They clean so thoroughly that if a single hair fell on the floor, we couldn’t bring ourselves to pick it up immediately.
