Grand Shahin

I visited Grand Shaheen with the intention of spending some time working, but unfortunately the experience was quite disappointing overall. The main issue starts with the seating area upstairs, which is extremely small and uncomfortable. The space feels cramped, and the tables are in very poor condition. They are old, unstable, and unusually low. If you are trying to work on a laptop, this becomes a serious problem. You are forced to bend your entire body forward just to reach your screen, which quickly causes back and neck pain. It is simply not a workspace-friendly environment at all.

Another major downside is the complete lack of staff attention. No one greets you when you arrive, and no one explains anything about the place or helps you get settled. When it came to connecting to the internet, the staff were not helpful. The only people who actually helped me with the Wi-Fi password were other guests sitting there, not the employees. This was surprising and unprofessional.

Throughout my entire stay, no staff member came to ask if I needed anything, wanted to order a drink, or needed assistance of any kind. You feel completely ignored as a customer. The upstairs area, in particular, feels neglected and poorly managed.

The only reason I am giving this place two stars is because the internet connection itself works well once you manage to connect. Other than that, the space, service, and comfort level are far below expectations. I would not recommend this place for working or long stays unless major improvements are made.
