First, the portion size for the price was very small and didn’t encourage me to go back.
Second, the prices were extremely inflated.
Third, when the bill arrived, a man named Abanoub came to me and I noticed an extra charge. He said it was for club entry fees and said some other nonsense, as there’s no such thing as a club entry fee when we’re entering a restaurant. When I asked him where this was, he said it was on the menu. “Okay, Abanoub, open the menu,” I said. “It says ‘couver,’ which means bread, and it’s supposed to be free. Anyway, we ordered two, so why is it listed as five?” He said it was for entry fees. I wanted to give him a response befitting his low mentality, but I calmly told him to get Mr. Osama. Of course, I had my family with me. Mr. Osama came, and the bill was corrected calmly. That’s the difference between a responsible and knowledgeable person and someone who’s ignorant of their job.
Fourth, there was a long argument between one of the waitresses and a colleague. Their voices were constantly raised, to the point that the table behind us started to make noise. We filed a complaint, but they kept stalling and it was ridiculous. There was a lot of noise and inappropriate language. If they were going to say it amongst themselves, what did we and our children do to deserve this? Even if we said we’d file a complaint, they’d say “okay,” but of course, within seconds the noise and fighting would start again, with the same awful language. In short, it’s a place that doesn’t even have the name of a Greek club. It’s exploitative, with noise, vulgar language, dishonest waiters, and exorbitant prices. It’s an experience I won’t repeat, and I don’t recommend it.
