It’s essentially an authentic Chinese restaurant with imported Chinese products you can cook with, noodles, sauces, etc.
The food is immaculate honestly, big portions, tasty, didn’t take long to be served, good seatings, very friendly and helpful owners. I’ve gotten fried spicy chicken wings, spicy beef with peppers, spicy noodles soup with tofu (fun fact I didn’t know, tofu is essentially soybeans, very high in protein), and the three orders were really delicious and satisfactory to their tastes.
I’ve tried multiple Chinese and authentic Chinese restaurants, that’s one of the best and even more since it’s in Alexandria which doesn’t have many restaurants.
10/10 going there again.

1- Unable to read
I went there last week and decided not to order, the service is terrible not existing. First of all, the menu is in Chinese and poorly written in English so it’s difficult to read or order.
2- Bad vibes
The atmosphere does not exist, they don’t know the first thing of welcoming a guest or how to take an order.
3- Overpriced
It was my first time visiting a Chinese restaurant but searching similar dishes it’s very overpriced and not worth it.
Ileies
This is by far the best and most authentic Chinese food that can be found in Alexandria. We actually even liked it more than most of the Egyptian restaurants we’ve visited. The staff was very kind and helpful while selecting dishes. They even let us charge a phone when the battery was empty.

Finally finally, Alexandria has a real Chinese restaurant! 👏👏👏 I’ve been to Haiting two times now, and I see tables with mostly Chinese people and a few Egyptians. The restaurant was full on this Sunday evening. For good reason.
The food is real, authentic, and delicious. For example, mapo tofu can only be made with real Szechuan peppercorns imported from China. They have them! It is tangy and spicy and wonderful. 🥰 Also this is the first place in Alexandria with real Chinese dumplings, there’s nothing in Egyptian cuisine anything like them. 🥟🥟🥟 Try them!
This restaurant will be expensive 💰🫰 for many people, but the portion sizes are large and can be shared. For example, the soup can easily feed three or four people. The mapo tofu can be shared among two people.
There is also a small selection of some basic Chinese ingredients: sesame oil, sauces, noodles for example.
