Clean, budget-friendly hotel with a stunning pyramid view. Room spotless, breakfast delicious, and overall amazing value for money. Would definitely stay again!

Economy stay with good Pyramid view

good for 24hours reception so even I arrive late, still have somekne to help you. Most of them are young people in good attitude, wouldn’t ask you for tips.

The room is spacious but also dusty and full of sand, facing the main street so a bit noisy, however the air-conditioning is cold enough, and the shower water is well functioning.

I’m only disappointed about the breakfast

The place is okay by the very low standards of Cairo/Giza hotels. The place doesn’t look like the pictures, the entrance is run down and the rooms are showing age and not as nice as in the photos.

The balcony door in my room didn’t lock. Breakfast the first morning was just hard bread and processed cheese/meat but the second morning a full breakfast was given. No explanation for this. Wifi didn’t work and the owner said it was shut off. Some small change was owed from paying cash for the room but it was never given “tomorrow” as promised which sadly is typical in Egypt.

Hot water did work and I guess the room was generally clean though one bed had a big stain on the sheets. Compared to other hotels I stayed in Egypt this was the worst and greatly overpriced but in Cairo/Giza the hotels have much lower standards so I imagine you could do worse than this place especially since most places don’t even care and have fake reviews.

The lobby is unassuming but the rooms and view are phenomenal. Breakfast was delicious. Views from the roof are great. We had the corner room with the view of the pyramids from the shower.

(The shower does leak some, put down towels.)

There was a “commissionable fee” added to our bill. $10 USD for two days. We looked this up and it does seem to line up with tourist taxes, but wish we’d known before we got there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We got to the hotel late after a very long train journey, and the owner helped us to order food online which was so lovely of him. They were the friendliest people we met in Egypt and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, I honestly can’t praise them enough. The room was clean with a big bed and good quality new furniture, fridge and kettle. The roof terrace has fantastic views of the pyramids and we had a tasty Egyptian breakfast up there. There’s a small shop next door for bottles of water and snacks. Overall I would definitely recommend Hassan Pyramids hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Giza.
