I’ve been a client of Laha Clinic for years, and I was one of their most trusted customers. I bought a very large laser package for a significant amount, totaling 5,000 pulses.
The main reason I bought such a large package was because of the system the clinic was using when I signed up; the large package was flexible and had no expiration date, allowing me to use the pulses and sessions whenever I needed. This was actually one of the advantages they used to encourage clients to buy larger packages and stay with them.
After a while, I decided to go for a touch-up using the remaining pulses.
A full day before my appointment, I called the clinic myself to confirm the booking. I explained that I was a client with an existing file and asked them to make sure my file was ready so I wouldn’t have to wait at reception. I confirmed that the booking was confirmed, the doctor was available, and everything was in order.
I went on the appointed day and arrived at the clinic expecting to receive something I had already paid for.
And that’s when the shock hit me.
At reception, I was told that the system had changed, that packages were now valid for 3 to 6 months, and that since my package was old, it had expired. Therefore, I had no remaining pulses or sessions, and if I wanted a session, I would have to pay again.
Even though not one of them had mentioned a new system, that my package had expired, or that my pulses had an expiration date in any previous call.
No, I went in person, and I was simply told that the service I had paid for was canceled, and that if I wanted to continue, I would have to pay again.
I tried to talk to the receptionist and explain that it was an old package and that no one had informed me of any change. I even spoke to the owner, and the response was always the same: “The system has changed.”
So the system changed, but where’s the notification for clients?
Why didn’t anyone call me?
Why didn’t anyone send a message?
Why didn’t anyone tell me I had a specific timeframe to use the pulses?
And why, when I called the clinic just a day before to confirm my appointment, didn’t anyone tell me any of this?
I’m not talking about one lost session. I’m talking about thousands of pulses I’ve already paid for, and multiple sessions I have with you, and then suddenly, while I was standing at reception, I was told that all of this is “not my responsibility” because of a system change I wasn’t informed about.
Honestly, the way they treated me was incredibly rude and disrespectful.
I’ve been a customer for years, paid significant amounts for your packages, and even came specifically to the clinic, confirming my appointment a day in advance. In the end, I was shocked by something like this. It’s as if my presence, my money, and the package I purchased are worthless, as if the solution is simply “the system has changed.”
Changing the system is your right, but you don’t have the right to change the terms of something I’ve already purchased and consider my money and rights nullified without informing me.
If the new package has an expiry date, you should have informed me clearly and in a timely manner so I could use the pulses!
Unfortunately, after years of dealing with and trusting this place, this is a very bad experience. Even worse is the way you treated me when I tried to speak up and claim something I’d already paid for.
Honestly, this is the worst clinic I’ve ever been to. Unfortunately, I’ve been going to this doctor for a while now, and every time she does the same cold peeling session. My sister and I both have the same session, and I don’t feel any difference afterward. The waiting time is awful. Every few minutes, the receptionist tells me to wait inside, and then someone else goes in. When I ask her how long I’ve been waiting, she looks at me with disgust, as if I’m insulting her, not as if it’s my basic right. I’ve been in the clinic for six hours and I haven’t even been seen yet! The doctor’s appointment is supposed to be from 2 to 9, and there’s only one hour left until 9. Why haven’t I been seen yet? I feel like all the time I wasted wasted. I put up with it every time, hoping that all the reviews were good, but honestly, it’s one of the worst clinics you could ever go to. I’m not going again.
The clinic used to be nice in terms of service and cleanliness, but now there is no cleanliness or good manners, and they are very bad in terms of service and appointments.
