If you don’t mind old buildings I would recommend this hotel, they are extremely hospitable, friendly, understanding and would get any issues you have fixed, highly recommended

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The pictures don’t do it justice, and the receptionist on the night shift (Mohammed) was extremely rude The furniture is very old, the bathrooms are dirty, and the building is very old.

When booking the Indiana it said it was wheelchair accessible, but upon entering the hotel the were about 10 steps in the lobby with no ramp, the bathroom door was not wide enough for a wheelchair to get through, and then there was a bath, obviously not for a disabled person. Any time we went in or out of the hotel the porter and security couldn’t have been more helpful carrying my partner in her wheelchair up and down the stairs. Now as for WiFi ( cough cough) it was terrible when In and out all the time sometimes wouldn’t have it for hours on end , now I don’t expect English channels on the TV there were 2 CNN and a movie channel, which was as bad as the internet going on and off, at 1 stage we had no TV for 3 days, I lost count of the amount of time I went to reception eventually after 3 days a guy came to look at it, and we had 1 channel CNN news wow. We travelled to Alexandria for 3 days on our return I found an empty coffee cup in the bathroom with cigarette butts in it, that we did not leave there. Went to reception to complain and was told no one could have been in our room. And they would check the security cameras. Now no one got back to me which I take it that they seen that someone had been in our room, now if no one had been in our room I’d say they would have been back on to me to prove that no one had been in the room. So if you’ve an electric wheelchair or are a lone traveller stay away. If you are looking for a place to lay your head then it’s for you. The room are nice and clean, and the food was surprisingly good. But I don’t like being asked for a for a tip by the staff, if I am happy by the way I’m treated I will tip, and I did tip all those while leaving that were we due a tip

The location is great, but if you are looking for network access i suggest looking for another hotel. I been there for three days and there was no netwrok access at all.

Hi everyone, today i just came back from a trip of 4 days in Cairo. Very traumatic experience
Firsly this hotel was booked by an agency that I trusted(I didn’t check it online and fully trust the agency).
Since there is no other place to express my opinions about Cairo overall,I will explain the review for the hotel and then for the city.
    Our room
-Didn’t have air conditioner and i catch a cold
    – the hair dryer didn’t function so I didn’t wash my hair in four days
    – NO ONE ever came to change the towels,to put new toilet papers and shampoo( we slept four days in the same sheets)
-The staff since we came didn’t turn back 20$ from a payment that we did( we have 100$ for a night cruise that normally they told us that costed 80$) online only 10 euros when we checked later
-One of the receptionist offended me and told me I talk very bad😂
    – The breakfast never came, we used to wait downstairs just to eat a pita, but two days we totally skip it because no one ever came in the morning
Since I came(after seeing online for problematic people in Egypt) I ask the hotel about a guide,to be protected from the scam.
We paid 110 EACH PER DAY(220 ) per day !!!!to do a guide(that surprisingly lasted only til 14:00 o clock, and a lunch (all you can eat).
What can I say😭we went to piramind and someone was trying to sell us a scarf for 1 euro, the guide SAID NO,I will lead you to someone else she said(I thought, oh ok maybe cheaper) BUT WE PAID 15 PER SCARF EACH, deniitely she knew him
This thing kept on going because she was taken her percentage, ohh and the camel ride 75€ crazy guys(normally 20€), and we couldnt even talk because we were too afraid
Everytime we were trying to negotiate the price, she would talk with the seller in Arabian language to interact with him whether to lower or not the price, because she had her part of money
So we were trying to avoid scams, but we buy the BIGGEST SCAM by ourselves
They act like muslims and people of belief but they are pure evil with no feelings at all!!
In the last day we asked to be taken to the cave church and they said no,so we took by our self Uber,JUST TO SEE HOW LITTLE THE RIDES COSTED.
You might think ok then,I will always take Uber,NOO . Be careful, one of the Uber guys was very agrassive and always hitting the wheel because of the trafic.
The only guy that seemed fine, mmubaed the drive of the guide that we paid, scammed as on the last day at the airport, the last moment he ASKED 1000 EGP,for a ride that normalyt cost 200 max .so guys, I’m really sorry, but I TOTALLY SUGGEST YOU TO AVOID EGYPT,ESPECIALLY CAIRO. THE STREETS ARE VERY DIRTY,A LOT OF CRAZY DRIVING you cannot even pass the street safely. The Egyptians I swear are very bad people ,they don’t see tourist as normal people but as walking walets. I swear they will.let you die if you are in need and don’t give them money. If you realllyy like the piramids and you are very passionate about them( not me,so I absolutely regretted the trip)book as little days as possible(max 2) because you are really at risk for your life there. Did I mention there is rabies?
Please guys avoid avoid avoid this place,go to Europe full of beautiful countries and a lot cheaper( +2 million did I spent for 4 days). The second I came back to my county I kissed the floor, because some wars were going near by in jordian,Iran and there is a risk the future flights from cairo will be closed too. Avoid everything there guys, a lot of European country’s with beautiful beaches and buildings and history. People in Europe help you for free, meanwhile there even when you pay they try to scam you.
