My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. I faced several major issues:
    • There was no heating at all, and as a result, I got sick during my stay.
    • The staff and management do not care and showed no willingness to help.
    • The internet is extremely bad and almost unusable.
    • The place is not clean and needs much better maintenance.
    • The TV doesn’t work at all.

Unfortunately, I do not recommend staying at this hotel. I hope the management improves these serious problems as soon as possible.

Friendly staff & have a view over Tahrir sq
The only good thing about this hotel.
I booked a deluxe double room with private bathroom & balcony
But i get a very bad humid room with a window & without TV
“He got me 100 EP discount for not having TV like Daaaah 🥲”
    Very bad connection to internet
My sinusitis killing me during staying there
Very bad smell at the alley
And the receptionist told me they have
Building maintenance from 9 to 5
So i have to use to this noise
It was nothing like the pictures online
    Not recommended at all

The Ismailia Hotel in Cairo is a budget-friendly option for those looking for a basic, no-frills place to stay in the city. The hotel is located in a convenient central location, close to many of Cairo’s most famous attractions, including the Egyptian Museum and Tahrir Square. The rooms are simple and functional, with basic amenities including a private bathroom and air conditioning. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel also offers a small restaurant serving breakfast and other meals. Although the hotel is showing its age and could use some renovation and updating, it offers good value for its price and is a good choice for travelers on a tight budget who are looking for a simple and affordable place to stay in the city. Overall, the Ismailia Hotel is a good choice for those who prioritize value over luxury.

Very good price, 300 pound for a nice room with stunning view. Very clean, the location is perfect (center of the city, the museum is across the street and the metro is downstairs). The people are helping. Great quality/price ratio. A bit hard to find tho (under the arch between the square and a backstreet) and elevators are…. 😱

Coming from Europe, the only good thing about this place is that it is located in the middle of Cairo.
To start with, Elevators need renovated, the rooms needs fixing up fitted with air conditioning, toilets/bathroom needs fixing up with high pressure water showers.
There is a shared kitchen, that also needs checking.
    I don’t recommend it.
I gave one and that is because where the hostel is located.
Once again, I do NOT recommend this place whatsoever.
