Jewel Hotel – Eldokki

We were a group of 6 ladies who booked a 2-room apartment (with 3 single beds in each) for 5 nights (May 21–25), a month in advance. But on arrival, we were told the apartment was “under maintenance” with no prior notice. After long discussions, we were given 2 separate rooms on opposite sides of the lobby—not ideal at all.
The lobby was always dusty due to ongoing construction upstairs. Workers frequently passed through with debris. We couldn’t move to another hotel as we had paid in full.
The rooms we received were clean and spacious, and the staff was very helpful—that’s the saving grace. But the Wi-Fi was terrible. We had to go to reception just to get a signal or ask for a new password every time. In 2025, this is unacceptable.
Good staff, decent rooms—but very poor management and planning. Won’t recommend unless major improvements are made.

It was a pleasant experience. The receptionist named Sara was amazing and made our stay wonderful and convenient. Very helpful, friendly, and professional. If you need anything, she is always available to help with a smile.

The reception doesn’t speak English, so it’s difficult to communicate.
It took me over an hour to get wifi password. The wifi signal was weak and it was difficult to connect. Without wifi there is no signal.
Requested room cleaning but no service for 3 days. Even water was only the 2 bottles we received when we checked in. We booked a suite, but nothing was prepared when we arrived (coffee, shampoo, toilet paper, etc.). It was hard to believe it was a suite.
