Really solid stay overall. Building’s like 10 floors, but the hostel itself is just on the 7th. Elevator works fine, just gets a bit busy sometimes.
Lobby was clean, no issues there. Staff were honestly the highlight, Martin especially. Super friendly, gave great local tips, just a great guy to talk to.
Breakfast is simple Egyptian stuff, nothing fancy but it does the job and fills you up.
Room was small but clean, which is pretty much what you expect. Bed was nice and firm (perfect for me), sheets were comfy. AC worked really well, just a bit loud, and had a tiny leak but seemed like normal condensation. aside from the AC, it was dead quiet, Cairo might be loud at all hours, but you wouldn’t know it if you’re in the room. Kind of impressive for being right in downtown Cairo.
Bathroom was actually a big plus. Clean shower, solid water pressure, exactly what you need after a long day out.
Checkout was easy and they let me store my luggage, which was clutch. Only slight thing, bags are kept out in the open, but staff are always around so it didn’t feel sketchy.
Overall, great value for the price. Would stay again.

Alhamdulillah they were very accomodating, breakfast was wonderful. Hotel is right at the center of Cairo for a reasonable price. Inshallah I would love to come and stay there again.

Sometimes there are places where you just stay overnight when you go on vacation!!! But sometimes there are places that are no different from home. They make you feel at home, and the people inside become like family. As a man who has traveled to 53 countries, I was reunited with my family in Egypt and I definitely recommend it to everyone 💙🔆🪬

Very important information: in a nearby building, there is a shop, where I almost got scammed. The shop keeper, young and professionally clothed, has seen me outside when I searched out for the Hostel. He helped me out but later on asked me nicely to visit his store, because he was an “artist”. I took the ride but when entering the store, I realized that it looked like every other scam-tourist-shop. He wanted to trick me into buying something by writing my name onto a piece of “art”, which was a cheap print of egyptian art that could be found at multiple places. He said it is free but I knew there was a catch. After him lying, I went away, hearing his shouting in the background. Unfortunately, this store isn’t listed on google maps, but just as a rule of thumb: if you meet someone whom I described as before, ignore them and continue enjoying Egypt

The hotel has great locations where also closed to metro and very new facilities! At 7th floor reach with lift.
I’ve booked private room, but the only thing is you could hear all the sounds from common area, I’ve raise this issue for staffs and they’re very nice to got the advice to improve. (the sound proofing, quiet hours etc) (my visit was December 2025)
Other than that, the shower is nice water pressure and breakfast is amazing! 🤩
