Very disappointing experience.
Doctor appointments are always delayed or completely unorganized. The staff at the reception and the nurses are extremely rude, unfriendly, and unprofessional. No one smiles, no one helps, and they treat patients with disrespect. This hospital really needs serious management changes. I do not recommend it at all.
All the reception staff on the ground floor and the nursing staff should honestly work somewhere else, because they clearly have no idea how to deal with patients or people in general
My God if only I can give this hospital no star at all because it simply it doesn’t deserve any star. I took my husband to the ER for tooth infection after the dentist extracted the tooth and treated the infection but the dentist can’t prescribe any pain killers; my husband was in so much pain and after about 1 hour waiting the doctor come and wanted to prescribed paracetamol & salt water mouth rinse, seriously…I thought she was joking, lol…why would we need an ER doctor to prescribe over the counter medication?? Even after we explained the situation, her gesture was such a disgrace towards a patient who’s fighting to not collapse from all the pain he experienced; at least have some decency or sympathy as a doctor; unbelievable! Such a shame, we went to this hospital the previous day too, and the nurse wasn’t happy when I wanted to know what kind of medication he had injected into my husband’s arm? Why can’t my husband and I know what medication is being injected? I told them that paracetamol/ibuprofen doesn’t work to reduce the high level of pain, and that’s why we’re there at the ER. the service was bad…the workers are bad overall such a horrific experience
I Have to rate this hospital low based on the ER experience.. As a patient with a dental implant two hours prior and no pain medication prescribed by the Dentist (he’s not permitted by law to prescribe codeine or any pain killers), I came to the hospital ER for help. As I was there the previous evening with the pre-extraction abscess and its related pain, the ER recalled my situation. I explained that the tooth had just been extracted and that the dentist had drilled the implant into my jawbone. I showed the ER MD the implanted screw into my jawbone, the sutures, and the swelling. She was underwhelmed. She then proceeded to instruct me to go home and take Paracetamol (Tylenol) and rinse with warm salt water. She described Tylenol as a “pain killer”.
Bottom line, she treated a patient with a recent titanium screw drilled into his jawbone as if he is faking pain. I can’t imagine the treatment I would have received from her if I *didn’t* have a clearly visible issue.
In the US, dentists prescribe codeine tablets/syrup. The last time I had major dental work, I took 1/4 the dose of codeine and it sufficed
For a highly talked about private hospital , Louran is not living up to its reputation
I recently had surgery at this hospital and was overall very pleased with the experience. The hospital is exceptionally clean and well-organised, with friendly staff and excellent nursing care. The operating room was spotless, and the doctors were very attentive and thorough.
One area that could be improved was the admission process.
despite having my surgery scheduled in advance, it still took nearly 30 minutes to book my room before the operation.
That said, the call centre was great, and the reservation system was one of the best I’ve experienced, which made the rest of the process smooth.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hospital and its doctors for their professionalism and quality of care.
