My friend and I visited this restaurant on Friday and had one of the most appalling dining experiences we have ever encountered.
We ordered the grilled chicken with herbs. As soon as my friend started eating, she immediately noticed that the meat did not taste, look, or feel like chicken. We called the waiter over to question it, and he confidently and repeatedly assured us that it was chicken.
A short while later, the manager approached our table, put a packet of wipes down, and casually said, “You are not supposed to eat quail with a knife and fork, you eat it with your hands.”
We were absolutely horrified. The dish we had specifically ordered as chicken was actually quail. The waiter had either deliberately lied to our faces or was completely incompetent and unaware of what was being served. Either scenario is unacceptable.
My friend was disgusted and deeply upset that she had unknowingly eaten something she never ordered and would never willingly eat. Offering to “replace” the meal after deceiving a customer is not acceptable customer service — it is damage control after being caught.
What made the situation even worse was the disgusting behaviour of the staff afterwards. The waiters and the manager were openly laughing, smirking, and sniggering at us throughout the ordeal. Instead of apologising, taking accountability, or showing basic professionalism, the manager returned to our table and arrogantly said, “If there is food in front of you, you should eat it no matter what it is.”
That statement alone tells you everything you need to know about this restaurant’s standards, attitude toward customers, and complete lack of respect. Serving customers the wrong food, lying about it, mocking them when confronted, and then attempting to shame them for refusing to continue eating is beyond unacceptable.
We immediately stopped eating, paid the bill, and left. I would strongly warn anyone considering dining here to avoid this restaurant entirely. The staff are dishonest, the management is rude and unprofessional, and the entire experience was disgraceful from start to finish.

Piccolo mondo , you get in and find some italian decorations and names of people carved on the walls all around you , you get seated by helpful staff (but you need to have a reservation) , the menu has a wide selection of drinks and Italian cuisine dishes. I ordered seafood pasta and salmon fettuccine and both were very tasty , the best thing about this place is the view by the nile which makes the whole experience blends in together nicely.
If you want a break from the city lights this place is highly recommended .

Better make a reservation. It was a very pleasant experience with loads of Italian vibes. As if you are sitting inside an old pizzeria in Italy. The menu is varied and the quality of the food is worth the price. We enjoyed a selection of Italian salads, Salami pizza, and Penne Le Pacha. We were quite full and we had no room for dessert after this delicious load of carbs. You get to enjoy a very nice and close view of the Nile since it is located in the bottom floor of the boat. Fit for a date and a casual dining experience.
