I requested ash lowlights, but unfortunately the color changed noticeably within the first month. The lowlights turned yellow, and the base became light brown (it was dark brown) even though I’ve been consistently using silver shampoo.
I had specifically requested a day before that Shady or Fady do my hair, but instead it was done by a less experienced staff member while Shady only supervised. As a result, the lowlights were uneven and done in a very basic, unprofessional way.
I’m honestly extremely disappointed, especially considering the amount I paid. I was told on Instagram that lowlights start from 4500 LE, but surprisingly I was charged 9500 LE for poorly done results.

For the past five years, I’ve been getting my hair colored and cut with either Shadi or Fadi. I’ve always trusted them, and even though the prices are on the higher side compared to the rest, I never hesitated because I was consistently happy with the results. I also never complained about how often appointments run late.
But today was different.
I arrived 15 minutes early and made it clear that I had a meeting in two hours and really needed the appointment to start on time. Instead, I ended up waiting for an entire hour, and Mr. Fadi still hadn’t shown up.
I honestly expected more respect for the appointment, especially that we made the appointment a day before. I felt disrespected, especially given that I planned my tight schedule around this visit and even came to Cairo specifically to get my hair done.

Very unprofessional. They were neither professional in their attitude nor in how they treated my hair. They clearly didn’t know what they were doing. My hair was damaged from the very first strand they touched.

I do not recommend this place at all, especially for veiled woman. Their “veiled” section is ridiculously small and they had the lady doing nails there too which is crazy. Their staff were very limited (they had only two ladies working in the veiled section and one did all the work and the other was just an assistant who knew nothing obviously) they were very slow, disrespectful and not friendly at all. I’m pretty sure the “veiled section” was just a storage room which they turned into a section for the veiled..and the room had a surveillance camera like what??
The lady kept going outside to get her equipment, the brush that she was detangling my hair with was disgusting and the bristles on it were falling apart. Then she started applying a hair mask on my hair that wasn’t the one i asked for, and when i noticed and asked the assistant what was it, she knew nothing and wasn’t even sure what she was putting on my hair. Overall it was such a bad experience and i wouldn’t recommend going there ever, just go to Mohamed el sagheer if you want a place that’s professional with a respectful staff.

A hair dresser. Very good and profisional people for hair styling and coloring. The manicures and pedicures are ok. Friendly staff. By appointment. So you don’t have to wait. Clean and well organised. They do hair extensions. The prices are very reasonable compared to other well known venues and in my opinion even better service
