I asked them for a specific hair color before my engagement and showed them lots of pictures, but they did something completely different. I wanted a dark chocolate color, but they made me a light caramel with blonde and orange undertones. I asked them to darken it, and they told me to try it for two days, and if I didn’t like it, I’d come back and they’d darken it. I paid more than I’d budgeted because caramel colors are more expensive than chocolate. I told them, “But I originally asked for a chocolate color, not a light one!” But I didn’t get anything out of it, and I paid like a fool. I spent two days feeling disgusted with the color and feeling like I’d ruined my hair. They gave me a lousy, unnatural color and tried to convince me it was similar to Nelly Karim’s hair color. I went back, and they tried again to convince me not to darken it, but I wasn’t going to darken it or anything like that. I was stressed, anxious, and didn’t trust the place, and my engagement was in a few days. I went and told them to just give me back my hair color the way it was. I didn’t want anything more than that, no fancy treatments, no nonsense. My hair is black with brown undertones. It was easy, it was just dark, but it didn’t turn out exactly like my hair, thankfully.

What’s infuriating is that he told me at the end, “I made it dark for you, just like you wanted it in the beginning.” Well, you know that, so why did you make it lighter? Was it just to charge me more?

Yes, the dye isn’t guaranteed, but why did he tell me, while I was paying, that I’d have to pay extra for a lighter color? I didn’t ask for it! I couldn’t argue with him, and there was no signal at the place to show him the chat with the prices I came based on. My hair is fine now, but I didn’t change anything, and I literally paid money for nothing. Sometimes my hair feels dull from the original color, which is a cool shade and doesn’t suit my skin tone. I wanted a warm color from the start. Maybe my experience is unique, but I feel like I was ripped off.

They’re awful, they don’t keep their word, they don’t do things properly, I had a treatment there and they charged me a lot of money and in the end my hair is damaged and it shouldn’t be.
