I visited Malek El Semman after hearing a lot of hype about it, but personally it didn’t live up to my expectations. I tried the quail and the mombar — both were just average to me and didn’t really stand out in terms of flavor. Considering the experience, I felt the prices were a bit high for what was offered. While many people seem to enjoy it and it may suit others’ tastes, it simply wasn’t my thing.

A unique spot in Alexandria that specializes in Quails.
The grilled quails are excellent, the quality of the food is great, the prices are affordable and overall a pleasant experience.
I would recommend trying it.

Went to try this place as it’s known for quail.
Ordered multiple varieties but didn’t like the quail as it was so hard to eat.
Was a very tiresome experience but Service and other items were delicious.
Price is affordable also.
Next time I’ll try different dishes.

Speciality سمان place that offers ultra tasty oriental food.
The place is really nice and the people are friendly.
The menu is concise and short, a huge positive over the norm of bloated menus in Egyptian restaurants.
You are welcomed by a wide variety of tasty local appetizers, that taste really good, بابا غنّوج and جبنة قديمة were especially good.
سمان was very very tasty, sausage also.
I can’t recommend enough.
Oriental atmosphere, tasty and unique food.

Oriental tasty food! Food is so good and tasty especially the grilled seman. Staff are very friendly and active Very nice seman, so tasty, the penguin is not that good, the sausage is good, over all it is good for delivery fast and good collection of salad the prices also is average
