I just came back from a 5 days trip to Cairo, I stayed at this hotel
The hotel overall is good
All Staff are friendly and welcoming
The breakfast was average ,good taste but nothing special
The rooms are a bit small but very clean, the bathroom is clean too the water is hot, the AC works probably
The location is good near the El tahrir square.
The restaurant on the 13th floor has an amazing view, good Shisha,and good food (but could be better) the prices are higher than other restaurants we tried in Cairo, the staff were amazing and welcoming and will provide you with your needs
Had only one issue, which is the housekeeping service where they forgot to restock the towels in the bathroom but I requested some and the staff brought them and solved the issue.
For the location if you are planning to use uber its very good, but it’s a bit dark if you want to walk home at night but there is police men right in front of the hotel so it is safe.
All in all, the stay for me was good to average if you are looking for a place to sleep and have a good service.

We stayed in this hotel for three nights late January 2026. The staff were very nice, polite, helpful and professional, especially Alison and Joe on reception.
Breakfast was plentiful, with enough choices. And the waiters were efficient and polite.
Unfortunately, the issue I have with this hotel is that it is very noisy. They very kindly allowed us to move rooms, which helped a little bit but I am a light sleeper and I was woken several times in the night.

My stay in Mar Charbel Hotel has been absolutely fantastic. From the location to the staff to the amazingly beautiful rooms, our stay has been very memorable here, thanks to all the staff involved in our stay particularly Olfat Nasry and Michael! Will definitely recommend hotel to everyone and look forward to staying here without a doubt on my next trip to Giza and Cairo

Service is exceptional. So friendly and helpful. Everyone was great, special mention to all reception staff, Joe and olfat.
Cairo vista restaurant was superb. We eat there 3 nights. osso bucca and steak worth a special mention. Again service was exceptional, restaurant manager was so attentive and knowledgeable. Great value as well. I can recommend this hotel, and restaurant highly enough.

My daughter and I were at the Mar Charbel hotel from the 8th of Jan till the 13th
Even though we are a 5 star hotel lovers
And always stayed at one when in Cairo
This hotel gave us the exact feeling
The service and kindness of all employees there was awesome
The breakfast had all that you needed and more , the roof top restaurant was our favourite, we had the best food and shisha there with prices that were great
We love food which was in generous portions and great taste we were really was satisfied
True the reception area is too small but still all other services just covered for this matter
Thanks to all employees there we really don’t want to mention one or two since they were all helpful
We do hope to stay there on our next visit to Um Aldunya
