A truly unique location. Looking out the window, you see pyramids of immense size very close. It evokes a wonderful feeling of insignificance, as if you are so small in the face of history & the ancient Egyptian civilization with all its perplexing mysteries.
Then you step out of all this and return to modern urban life, receiving the services of a prestigious hotel that has hosted great presidents and kings, offering you services of the highest level of luxury and distinction.

absolutely fantastic location in this amazingly located property.
The property grounds are very good. The pool is nice but it’s not heated so in December was a bit too cold to swim.
Obviously, the best part is the gorgeous views of the pyramid from the gardens and from the fantastic breakfast that they provide
The Servers was the best we felt in our different hotels in Egypt
The golf cart provided to the back gate to the pyramids was a fantastic park, but you do need to reserve it the night before
Would highly recommend. Obviously on the pricier side based on location and history and service but well worth it.

Our stay at Marriott Mena House Cairo was truly unforgettable and the perfect way to celebrate our 10-year anniversary. Visiting Cairo felt incomplete without spending at least one night here—and it absolutely lived up to our expectations.

From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. The highlight, of course, was the breathtaking view from our room. Waking up to the iconic Great Pyramid of Khufu right in front of us was a once-in-a-lifetime experience—something we will cherish forever.

We had lunch at 139 Pavilion Restaurant and were lucky enough to get a front-row table facing the pyramids. The view alone was incredible, but the experience became even more magical in the evening. When we tried to confirm our dinner reservation, the manager, Amal, went above and beyond to arrange the most amazing table for us. It was private, romantic, and perfectly set for our anniversary celebration.

Everything—from the views to the service—was simply exceptional. This is more than just a hotel stay; it’s a memory you carry with you for life. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience something truly special in Cairo.

This is an outstanding hotel and the people who work here are so very kind, helpful and welcoming! I had the great pleasure to meet Mahmoud from Team Al Balman upon arriving at Mena House. He was so very kind and helpful! We laughed and talked as if we had known each other a long time! I felt so at home my first few minutes at the hotel! Mahmoud set the tone for an incredible experience of Egypt-the history, culture and the people were wonderful!

The view of the pyramids is spectacular, whether from your room or the restaurants. The breakfast and lunch bar are one of the best buffets I have ever had the privilege to experience! It was delicious! Everyone I had the pleasure to meet and talk with were so very kind and friendly! I highly recommend this hotel and their amazing staff who go far beyond just doing their job. Thank you Mahmoud for helping make this an amazing experience ❣️👏👏👏

Stayed three nights recently. An absolutely wonderfully maintained hotel with amazing staff, who genuinely appear to care about each and every customer. The hotel is about 50 mins from Cairo Airport and is away from Cairo city in Giza.

There is excellent security to get onto the property to include multiple security checks points. I felt very safe on this property. Due to my quick stay, I didn’t get to experience everything the hotel has to offer, but the M Club Lounge and buffet breakfast were out of this world. So many great food options both international and Egyptian. The hotel definitely recognizes and appreciates Marriott status.

The grounds of the hotel were very well kept and staff were always working to maintain the beautiful gardens. My room was upgraded and everything about it was outstanding. Only issue I had was being charged for a minibar purchase I did not use, but I did not bring it up to the hotel as the charge was so minimal (I think a snickers bar was missing and got counted against my stay). Honestly I think they would have taken care of it had I brought it up bc the staff were so great.

If you have the chance, definitely book a night at this hotel just for the experience of seeing the pyramids at night all lit up.
