These guys literally over charged me by 50 pounds just because I am a woman even though I needed the same hair cut as a man and my hair was already short so it was just to maintain it. I thought they would do a good job because they deal with short hair all the time but I was sorely mistaken. The quality of the cut was also not that great. To top it off they kept trying to upsell me with a bunch of other different services that made me feel so uncomfortable.
Update: I had the misfortune of meeting the store’s branch manager today, and she is a woman so it makes this update all the more painful. One of my guests was harassed by their staff while crossing infront of their store. When confronted about this, the store manager “first” apologized then proceeded to give me a laundry list of excuses because “boys will be boys.” I knew your establishment doesnt understand how to respect women 4 years ago. How little has changed.
‼️ ⚠️😵💫 I was at your barbershop a while ago and got a haircut and a beard trim. When the barber found out I’m Christian, he said, “Why? I’m upset with you now.” He told me I could go to the mosque with him sometime, that it’s never too late, and that he wanted me to go to heaven with him.
This is discrimination, and it’s illegal.
I just wanted a haircut and a beard trim, that’s all. I don’t want to hear this. After 10 years, I have to go back to Egypt only to face discrimination in my own country from ignorant people who can’t even adhere to the principles of their own religion.
Next time, I’m going to report you to the police.
I went to your barbershop some time ago to get a haircut and have my beard done. When the barber found out that I have a Christian name, he said to me, “Why? Now I’m disappointed,” and told me that I could come with him to the mosque sometime and that it was never too late. He said he wanted me to go to paradise with him.
This is called discrimination, and it is illegal.
I just wanted a haircut and my beard done. I didn’t come for this kind of nonsense. I come back to Egypt after 10 years only to be discriminated against in my own country by ignorant people who can’t even follow the principles of their own religion.
