Engineer Ashraf asked for 500 Egyptian pounds as an inspection fee, regardless of whether he actually did any work. I agreed, assuming he’d use a diagnostic tool to check the car, test the hoses with a pressure gauge, and do other things. He connected a computer diagnostic tool and then said it was because he didn’t have a part, and that was it. He refused to complete the inspection he’d promised, even though he took the full fee. This was because I told him I get my car serviced at his neighbor’s. Of course, I’m not forgiving them for the money they took without doing what they promised.
