This hospital is excellent. I would like to thank the staff, especially Ms. Nada, the public relations officer, for her efforts and care. Best of luck!
Unfortunately, their intensive care unit is terrible, and the nurses aren’t cooperative. This is because they only have nine ICU beds, they’re understaffed, and there’s only one doctor per shift! So, if two patients are dying, they’ll only care for one while the other dies. And on top of that, the nurses don’t coordinate with each other. My father has liver cirrhosis and was coughing up blood after an enema. Sadly, one nurse was fasting him on a doctor’s orders, while another was feeding him! Furthermore, during visiting hours, instead of having information about the patient, when you ask a nurse a question, they get lost and look for someone to answer, like a clueless child searching for a reply. And then there’s the constant noise from cell phones because of Facebook and Reels. I don’t know how this is supposed to be intensive care. Sadly, my father was supposed to have an endoscopy, but they kept him fasting for two days, giving him glucose without food. The only numbers that kept going up were the bills, and they were brazenly asking for money. I said, “Zouq,” but his medical numbers, platelets and plasma, were not increasing, and every day he would tell us, “Today, tomorrow,” until my father was completely depleted, and they still couldn’t perform the operation on him, and he was no longer able to walk. They couldn’t do it because of his old age or his illness. May God suffice me, and He is the best disposer of affairs.
