For a cut it’s fine but color – no! I spent two weeks researching different techniques and products. I wanted to explain that I want a mix of highlight and lowlights, perhaps balayage, however she was like, “I know, I know” . I was looking for those bigger chunk highlight that don’t start from the roots but about 3-5cm bellow and they blend into the natural color. I ended up with very thin highlights, starting from the roots with visible line between the highlights and the natural color, something that could easily be done at home with the silicon hats with holes. After the toner was applied my whole hair(not only the highlights) took an orange tint. I look more like I am turning grey and had to pay 1000 for this. So in my opinion don’t expect anything better than what unskilled person can do at home with a little bit of YouTube tutorials.
P. S. I tried to tell her in the begging when she started at the bottom layers of my hair that I don’t what this look and thicknes of the highlights but she was confident it will be what we agreed on. And she also takes pictures without permission.
I made an appointment for the next morning and she was able to fit us in. She responds promptly on WhatsApp.
I showed a picture of what I wanted for myself and she did a great job cutting. My friend has been getting her hair colored there and I might try that next. She does fantastic work on curly and wavy hair!
I only take off a star because I wanted my son’s hair to be trimmed so it wouldn’t be in his eyes. I didn’t show her a picture because I thought it was simple enough. Then suddenly huge chunks were being cut off and he was left with super short hair that I didn’t like at all. It was a super fast 5 minute cut and I’m sure she could have done better if she spent more time on it.
