This structure is incredibly overrated, and I invite anyone to be aware before booking it, and to read this detailed review.
Problems started even before arriving, as it was impossible to get in touch through Booking.com or the two mobile numbers provided. Only after around 30 hours they dared to respond.
Location is close to the Pyramids, yes, but the street is dirty and super noisy.
The structure is rundown, the lobby is tiny and kitsch, stairs are narrow and steep, and those leading to the rooftop are dangerous as they are covered with moving carpets.
The “famous” rooftop offers a decent view of the pyramids (far from being the best among the many nearby hotels).
All rooms are totally not soundproofed, meaning you hear people in the stairs (especially cleaning ladies in the morning) and the local people in the street as if you were with them. Even very late at night. To me, it was a nightmare, and I had to check out after the first night.
The window door of my room couldnt even be closed, and, hence, besides the noise, it was humid and cold.
Bed was comfy, at least.
Staff was rude, especially when we started to complain, and they tried to be manipulative and patronizing, which made our stay even more ackward and certainly not comfortable.
They cancelled my Booking reservation without telling me, right after I paid with credit card, probably a tactic to avoid negative reviews.
When my 76 year old dad asked to check out (3 days earlier, given the overall bad experience), the only person in the (empty) structure declined to help him with his luggage, despite the steep stairs and absence of lift.
I could go on and on, and I really dont understand all the positive reviews, also given the endless options around, cheaper, and offering way better quality.

We had a wonderful time at this establishment. The view is stunning from the room and from the roof top patio. The staff is phenomenal, Omar and team welcomed us after a stressful adventure and made feel at ease. The bed was the most comfortable and the shower is hot! This is a great spot for Giza pyramids trip. Highly recommend!

I arrived at the hotel around 3 a.m., and the gentleman at the reception was incredibly kind and helpful. My room was absolutely beautiful — I loved it! Breakfast was included, and it was delicious. You can even enjoy your meal with a stunning view of the Pyramids.
As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and comfortable throughout my stay. I truly appreciate their hospitality and highly recommend this hotel. 💛
