My worst experience ever
Honestly, I don’t like to give bad reviews because I don’t want to cut off someone’s livelihood. After ordering coffee and finishing, I went to order something else, but since there wasn’t a menu at the table, I asked verbally if I could order an egg croissant. The employee said, “Sure.” Unfortunately, the food wasn’t good. I couldn’t eat the croissant because it tasted stale, so I ate the egg inside and returned the croissant to them, and that was that. Then I was surprised to find on the check that it said “Turkish Smoked Croissant.” I spoke to them respectfully and asked why the order I ordered was different from what was written on the check. They told me they had informed me it wasn’t on the menu and they would make it themselves. I said, “No problem, maybe I didn’t hear.” Then another employee, apparently the supervisor, came to me and said, “I want your satisfaction, and tell me if you don’t like the food.” I told him the truth respectfully and said, “You’ll get your money back, and I’ll pay, but the food wasn’t delicious.” He said, “This…” Your problem is if you didn’t like it and the employee told you that the order wasn’t on the menu, and then left, and then came back and asked you to point to the menu and tell me what you ordered? I told him I didn’t order from the menu, I only asked the employee. He said, “Then that’s your problem,” and repeated it twice in a very provocative way. I didn’t refuse to pay, nor did I tell them their food wasn’t good. But when he came and asked for my opinion, saying he wanted to make it up to me, he should have listened to me instead of saying a couple of words with utter contempt and leaving. He ruined my mood, and I have an exam tomorrow. I swear to God, I will curse you for how you hurt me, made me cry, and made me feel like an insect. I am a peaceful person and I would never confront anyone if I didn’t like something. I paid for the food and kept quiet, but then he asked for my opinion, got angry, and was rude to me, even though I didn’t raise my voice and my words were completely respectful. I don’t know if this disrespect and contempt happened because I’m a foreigner or if he simply lacked good manners. The experience was terrible and awful; it will be the first and last time I go there. I absolutely do not recommend it.
