A great experience with corner view over looking a busy street. Historic building and rooms used in numerous TV and movies.

I do not recommend it.
This was the first place we stayed during our tour of Egypt, and unfortunately, it left a deep wound in us.
The advertisement on Booking.com depicts the place as very fancy, but the only positive thing about it is the view. The bathroom is unreasonably and inconveniently designed, and the neighborhood is simply scandalous. We didn’t dare venture out to the nearby store at night, or even during the day, as the accommodation is located in the middle of the biggest slum. Due to the country’s hygiene problems, it is not recommended to drink tap water, so we asked our host to bring water to our room. In total, he charged us 10 times the price for water bottles and morning coffees, which we were forced to pay due to our vulnerable situation.
The breakfast was tasteless, and we had to wait for hours for it, while our taxi was already waiting downstairs to take us to our next accommodation.
In addition, we were thoroughly ripped off on the guided tour he recommended, as they constantly tried to sell us everything, which put us in a bad mood for the tour.
The host tries to lure you in with his kindness, saying “don’t worry about the prices, enjoy yourself, welcome to Cairo, blah blah blah,” but don’t believe him. Unfortunately, he managed to rip us off, but I hope others will be able to avoid this in the future!

The hotel operator is morally corrupt and has serious management issues.
Firstly,personal items stored at the baggage storage are subject to theft without permission,and the owner covers up for the thieves.We left our luggage here in the morning,and when we retrieved it in the evening,a Beats headphone and a USB drive from the bottom of the bag were stolen.My companion’s transparent glasses and a purchased keychain were also stolen.
Secondly,the service attitude is extremely poor.When we confronted the manager,he refused to acknowledge the issue and even accused us of losing the items ourselves.He also failed to provide any evidence,such as surveillance footage,to clear our names.
Thirdly,the room was cleaned without our permission while we were still resting in it,severely disrupting our rest.
Lastly,their checkout time is misleading.The booking information stated that checkout is before 12 p.m.,but they demanded that we leave by 8 a.m.and kept rushing us out.It’s hard not to suspect that this is to facilitate easier theft of items from the storage area.
It is appalling that such a morally corrupt and poorly managed hotel can still operate in Cairo.It is a disgrace to the Egyptian hotel industry.

The place is amazing with an incredible view on the pyramids, comfortable rooms, beautiful roof and the kindest people. We stayed only one night but immediately felt comfortable. We had drinks provided in the room already and the breakfast was so delicious. From the beginning you feel like home and the kind couple that runs the place couldn’t be more helpful! Not only in the hotel they also provided us with informations and recommendations about the area. I would 100% recommend this hotel!!

We were welcomed by Mahmoud and Taghreed, the couple who owns the hotel. They’ve recently opened it (hence the few reviews) but they’re very efficient, helpful and friendly. Both of them speak English and always checked if we needed something. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a gorgeous view to the pyramids (waking up to it is amazing). The breakfast at the rooftop also features this view to the Giza pyramids where you can take the most perfect photos.
The hotel is like 5 minutes walk from the Giza’s pyramids complex, but they also offer a lot of tours.
Awesome experience, definitely would come back here!
