We had an incredible stay at the Pyramids Skyline Hotel!
The staff and owner were so kind, generous and hospitable, and obviously the view from the room and the terrace was sensational. The included breakfast was satisfactory, nearby shops and restaurants are within walking distance, and the area felt generally safe.
We would definitely recommend this place to anyone considering staying in Cairo or Giza!

On our trip to Egypt, we traveled from Budapest and chose this hotel in Giza, close to the pyramids. Honestly, it turned out to be a very good decision.

The stay itself was a great experience. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The staff and the manager were welcoming, genuinely helpful and professional throughout our stay. We spent four days here and really appreciated waking up to a pyramid view, that alone makes the place special.

The only real downside is the surrounding area. The neighborhood can feel chaotic and densely populated, with buildings that aren’t well maintained. That said, this is quite typical for many parts of Giza and Cairo. We never had any issues with local people; in fact, most were cheerful and helpful when needed. One thing to be prepared for: very few people speak English, so having Google Translate handy is a big plus.

The hotel itself is on the 11th floor of an apartment building, which looks surprisingly rough from the outside. Don’t let that put you off. Once inside, the rooms are in great condition: clean, tidy, and well looked after.

Breakfast is included in the stay and was better than expected. The food is authentic, with plenty of options, and the staff are happy to customize it if you ask. On our early checkout day, they even packed breakfast for us without us requesting it, which was a thoughtful touch.

Overall, I’d strongly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option with a pyramid view and are willing to overlook the neighborhood. If you go in with the right expectations, I’m confident you’ll have a very good stay here.

Amazing view of the pyramids, very friendly and welcoming staff, and a comfortable, pleasant room. Breakfast was rather basic, but overall the value for money was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this place.
