It’s a very neat nice hotel although it is 3 stars, however it’s rooms are nice, clean and tidy. Moreover the linens are new and clean, they are offering nice room service and the workers are cooperative. The restaurants of the hotel is clean and they have a wonderful chief ☺️ who is cooking excellent food. I recommend this hotel to any one who wants to visit Matrouh.

Terrible Experience Despite Good Location and Polite Staff
The only positives about this hotel are its convenient location and the friendly staff. Unfortunately, everything else was extremely disappointing.
The building is old, and the facilities are outdated. The furniture is worn out , the blanket had been cut into two halves !
The fridge in the room I stayed in 304 was not only ancient but also dirty with balck mold on it , There were no basic amenities like tissues or towels provided.
Maintenance is clearly neglected. A nearby room had a water leak that eventually spread into my room. When I requested a room change because of the leak and the dirty fridge, the receptionist refused, saying that the water will be cleaned and since I hadn’t complained about the fridge on the first day, I had to stay in the same room for my entire 3-night stay.
Every two rooms share a single water heater. If your room doesn’t have the heater, you have to knock on the neighboring room and ask them to turn it on so you can use the hot water !!!! Also This shocking information was not mentioned at check-in and was explained after complaining about the lack of hot water !!!
The hallways were always dirty, with water and garbage scattered around regularly.
Overall, it was a very bad experience. While the price may be affordable, the service and cleanliness are far below acceptable standards.
In these summer hotels yes you can accept to bring your own amenities but you cant accept moldy fridge nor sharing heater nor the receptionist response.
You can definitely find a cleaner and better-maintained place for the same price.

Rommel House in Marsa Matrouh is an interesting spot, especially if you’re into history. The location itself—inside a cave—is unique and gives a nice view of the beach nearby. However, the place is quite small, and the exhibits are limited. You’ll find a few items related to Rommel and World War II, but not much context or detailed information. It’s more of a quick visit than a full museum experience. The entrance fee is cheap, which makes it worth a short stop if you’re already in the area. The cave is naturally cool inside, which is refreshing on a hot day. Overall, it’s a decent place to visit for 15–20 minutes, but don’t expect too much. It’s more about the vibe and location than the content itself.

No towels at the room as a precautions of health, room door is not fitting to the floor which is makes the air conditioning is leaking to outside of the room, fridge gasket is not fitting well, and main balcony need to wire net for isolated the flies and mosquitoes
