Extremely unprofessional and carless business . I have been a regular client to Saladero since July of 2022. It was meh at first , not perfect but okay since I like salads and when I have no healthy options to choose from. I go there from at least once to 3 times a week. I also used to get salads rarely when they were in west field and they were much more professional then, at that time. At first , they used to fill my salad so much, and they’d ask everytime after scooping a veggie , what more I want in my salad. Now , they barely fell it and the employee doing the salad started at me , expecting me to say that’s it. They make it feel like a burden or too much if I am asking for what they simply offer. Since July I have always asked for salt , and they never have it. They often have no lemons, which is basic for a salad. Like I even considered purchasing them salt since the owner or whoever runs that place is too lazy to purchase his place an ingredient as simple as salt . About a month or a month and a half ago, things started being really bad. I asked for a dressing and lemons , when they had them at that time, and the girl there told me it was an extra 10 pounds for the first time ever. I used to ask for lemons regularly when they had them to the addition of sauce , and no body ever mentioned it being an extra cost. I only get the regular salads with Veggies without any additions , but one time I wanted to add chicken to the salad. Asked the girl there how many grams of chicken is it , she said 70 gms of chicken for an additional price . I asked her for it and she just scooped pieces of chicken in my salad without even weighing it (which was available in old branch) I asked her if she won’t weigh it , she said that the handfull is 70gms and the scale is in the backroom if she wants me to weight it. I of course refused and told her that I don’t want the chicken anymore. They’re a salad palace, you want to target people who eat healthy and people that do that care about their protein intake so that’s basic for the client you’re targeting. Third incident: I always ask for beets, lots of beets, which is an ingredient listed in the menu as a free unlimited veggie . I could always tell they were so bothered by that. Today, the guy told me , only 2 scoops of beets when I asked for more beets. Since when? I asked . He replied saying it’s always been this way. Who are you even kidding ? I am a very regularly client . The owner is always there and I can tell he’s very careless about his business, since he never cares to ask a regular client , hears my comments and complains and doesn’t act or apologize. Today is my last time visiting saladero . It used to be a place I happily go to to get my favorite meal , to a place I detest walking to get my food to .
