I recently visited the Bedouin village in Marsa Matruh and was thoroughly impressed. Kudos and thanks to the creators of this unique attraction. For those who typically visit Marsa Matruh solely for the beach, this village offers a wonderful day-long experience.
The ideal time to visit is around four to five in the afternoon. You can enjoy a delicious and authentically prepared Bedouin lunch, which is both great-tasting and reasonably priced. The village also features live animals in clean, well-maintained enclosures, including monkeys, deer, flamingos, and even an eagle you can take photos with. Additionally, there’s horse riding available for children.
One of the highlights is the museum dedicated to Bedouin heritage, which provides a fascinating glimpse into their culture. In the evening, the village organizes a delightful program for a small additional fee, featuring a magician and a tanoura dance performance. The show was very entertaining and well worth the price.
Overall, I highly recommend visiting the Bedouin village in Marsa Matruh. It offers a unique and enriching experience that complements the typical beach visit.
