Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell well below expectations. Out of roughly 10 dishes, only a couple were enjoyable, with most lacking flavour despite the restaurant’s fine-dining positioning and pricing. We overlooked small issues at first, including lemon served with seeds in our sparkling water, but things escalated when a fresh round of ice arrived with visible dirt/food residue in the glass.
The manager apologised and replaced the glasses, but by then the experience had already been tarnished. Disappointing, especially given the restaurant’s reputation and the fact that it was one of my final evenings in Alexandria.
That said, Rana, the waitress, was exceptional – friendly, professional, attentive, and genuinely one of the best parts of the evening. Thank you, Rana!

Excellent experience at Sontarini Restaurant. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the service was outstanding. Our waitress Rana Ali was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout the evening. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

If you want a relax chill family time or have a private time this is the place you can go the service is so amazing its quite place the view is good
Restaurant itself is unique from all other cafe in cornice ♥️

Amazing experience, vibes were great, live singer made it extra special, i would 100% recommend going there by sunset you’d see an amazing sea view, place is also amazing for couples and romantic dates. Angus beef was the best plate (even though im not a big fan of beef but it was so so good) also chicken suvlaki was very tasty

The server was absolutely lovely. The restaurant was decorated very beautifully. And the views of the sea were nice. They bring you complimentary delicious lemon-mint welcome drinks and tasty fresh breads on arrival. The mains were presented nicely; their taste, however, was a bit disappointing. The souvlaki chicken was very tasty but it only came with rice which was plain and tasteless (maybe get it spicy instead of mild) and the spaghetti was similarly a bit lacking in sauce.
