I have been with Sawa Centre with Dr.Fatma Sedeek for two years now and there is definitley improvement, the staff and the doctor are very friendly and helpful.

I had the worst experience ever at Sawa Clinic with Dr. Fatma Sedik. I asked her before we started to taper off my antidepressants, but she was completely unorganized about the plan. I went through terrible withdrawal symptoms. Exactly what she’d promised wouldn’t happen. When I told her how bad it was, she just said it was normal, told me to take painkillers, and if it didn’t improve, go back to a lower dose.
I found out I’ve been on 40 mg of antidepressants for almost two years!!!!
. I’m not even sure why—she’s a “دكتور باطنه” with some diplomas in psychology, but this feels way outside normal practice.
On top of that, session fees are inconsistent, and you have to negotiate each time. There’s no standard cost and no included follow-up visit like a normal doctor. I do not recommend Sawa Clinic or Dr.Fatma Sedik.
