The experience was fairly good. The place was empty even though it was Friday and 10:30 PM. Several dishes from the menu were unavailable. The pizza was very average, but the rest of the dishes were excellent.

Just an average Italian restaurant, nothing special makes me come again
Every thing was average nothing made me say wow
    The service was great

Honestly one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve had in Cairo — especially from a place that pretends to be high-end.

The food was already a letdown (the meat and fish were shockingly bad), but the real problem started when we found a piece of paper inside the Pepsi cup.
When we pointed it out, the manager Ahmed didn’t even bother to apologize. Instead, he immediately blamed us and said it was “our cigarette paper.”
The attitude alone was enough to ruin the night.

Ahmed then said he would “check the cameras,” disappeared for half an hour, and when we went to him again he suddenly claimed he doesn’t have access to the footage — even though we literally saw the scene on their own phone earlier. It was embarrassing how hard they tried to avoid responsibility.

After wasting our time, instead of fixing the issue they offered a 15% discount like it’s supposed to make up for contaminated drinks and rude service.

This place needs a serious wake-up call.
Terrible food, unprofessional management, and zero accountability. Not recommended at all

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Cairo, especially for a restaurant that markets itself as “premium.”

The food was already disappointing, the meat and fish were honestly unacceptably bad. But things got even worse when we found a piece of paper inside the Pepsi cup.

When we informed the manager, Ahmed, instead of apologizing or showing any responsibility, he immediately accused us by saying it was “our cigarette paper.”
His attitude was shocking, defensive, dismissive, and completely unprofessional.

He said he would “check the cameras” and disappeared for 30 minutes. When we followed up, he suddenly claimed he didn’t have access to the cameras, even though we had literally seen the footage earlier on their phone. The excuses were unbelievable.

Instead of resolving the issue, we ended up having to explain basic customer service to them. And after all the inconvenience and disrespect, their “solution” was a 15% discount, which felt insulting given the contamination and terrible service.

Scalini Cairo needs serious management training , starting with Ahmed.
Would not recommend this place to anyone.

From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and elegant, creating the perfect setting for a great meal.

The food was absolutely outstanding! The truffle pizza was rich and flavorful, with the perfect balance of truffle aroma and melted cheese. The mushroom risotto was creamy and perfectly cooked, bursting with earthy flavors. The fried calamari was crispy and tender, and the shrimp spaghetti was cooked to perfection with a delicious, well-seasoned sauce.

Service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and professional. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of authentic Italian flavors.
