Self Medical Hub

This place drove me to write my first ever bad review. I spent SIX AND A HALF HOURS there for a consultation with two doctors and two treatments. The place appears fancy and grand and clean sure but it is entirely devoid of any sense of care toward the guest experience. I felt like I was blindly shuffled around and there was no warmth. One of the treatments I chose was the lymphatic drainage and I was asked to remove my clothes and lie on the table. The door wasn’t even fully closed yet, there was no designated place to put my clothes, nothing given to me to cover up until I specifically asked for it. During the sessions the bright lights are on the entire time and your comfort is never prioritized. Why do they put you in a position lying face-down without making sure your head and neck are comfortably supported? There wasn’t a hole for my face so I had to turn my head to the side and strain. I was too tired to advocate for myself in that moment but I shouldn’t have even needed to so that.

I had consultations with two lovely doctors. Did either of them ask about any relevant medical history? Nope. A MEDICAL SPA SHOULD ASK FOR MEDICAL HISTORY.

The doctors were very nice but the entire experience was really irritating. They made me wait so much between each step (including the initial consultation, the doctor was a whole hour late from the start) and never gave explanations as to why I’m waiting or how long I’ll be waiting and finally on my way out at 9:30 PM (since arriving promptly at 3 PM for my appointment) the guy at the front desk told me I needed to pay for the consultation fee.

They wait until after I’ve been there literally all day for something that could have taken two hours MAX to tell me that there is also a consultation fee?? He called the manager on his phone for me and she offered insincere apologies and said they were simply so overburdened and busy today with appointments that it was out of their hands.

I didn’t casually walk off the street and stumble into their clinic. I had an appointment. The manager wasn’t able to console me with anything except an offer to take her phone number and deal with her directly with my needs next time. Habibti there won’t be a next time.

ALSO I’m pretty sure they fed my phone number to some partners because I received a promotional text message through my WhatsApp while I was there. And I’ve had an increased number of spam calls since I visited their office. This place is a sham scam.

How this place has 4.8 stars I don’t know. Several times I’ve taken friends and family for appointments only to be met with unaccountability from the doctors for errors made. Or to wait nearly 40 mins just to be seen. We were told to wait until the doctor sees us because she would “rest”. Not making this up. Respects clients time and schedule them at the time the doctor is actually there! I would recommend seeking other clinics.
