I am submitting a complaint in my name and on behalf of cancer patients at Gamal Abdel Nasser Hospital in Alexandria against the doctor who is ill-mannered and merciless towards patients, the doctor who is unworthy of her position: Dr. Abeer Ahmed Yahya, Professor of Surgical Oncology at Gamal Abdel Nasser Hospital.

The patient is Noha Qabari Zaki Hammad.

We have been going back and forth with the patient for more than two months. She has a tumor in her pancreas and needs surgery, a Whipple procedure.

We presented her to the committee on May 14th, and they requested scans, tests, an endoscopy, and analyses. We were given a committee appointment for Sunday. 1/6
They requested a CT scan from a specific doctor.
I had it done, and we were examined the following Sunday.
They requested blood tests and an MRI, and we were examined the following Sunday.

And lastly, the doctor. Abeer says she wants a sample analysis done.
The sample was taken.
And then she simply tells us to get a microscopic swab.
Meaning, go book an appointment, get a microscopic swab, and the results will be three days later.
Meaning, we’ll be delayed for another 15 days.
May God suffice us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.
Complaint regarding the patient’s case, Noha Qabari Zaki Hammad. The complaint is about mistreatment, negligence, and delaying cases until their conditions worsen due to Dr. Abeer Ahmed Yahya’s treatment of patients, delaying them, and ignoring their pain.
And we still haven’t made a decision regarding surgery.
Why doesn’t she request everything at once? Why does she leave patients in pain and suffering? She treats them badly, ignores them, and yells at them. She gives special treatment to her patients who come from her private clinic. May God suffice us. My affair is with God, for God is All-Seeing of His servants.
