I would not recommend staying at sun pyramid view inn. While the view is good the apartment itself was old,dirty and wi-fi did not work at all. The hosts weren’t exactly helpful.
As it was our first time in Egypt we asked them to help us with a transfer from the airport. I double checked twice that it was both to and from the airport, both ways. We were quoted $20 and as I felt it was fair I paid €25 as it was the currency I had and tipped the driver. Overall a nice amount more. Then when it came to the return journey he had the audacity to ask for €25 again! As I learned an uber is safe and only €8 so I guess a lesson learned that you trust no one in Egypt, not even the hotel where you are staying. Very disappointed with the hosts

Absolutely unacceptable experience – misleading, unhygienic, and unprofessional
This booking was a complete disaster and easily one of the worst stays I have ever experienced.
From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the place was nothing like the listing photos. The room, space, and especially the supposed “view” were completely misleading and falsely advertised.
On top of that, the apartment was not clean at all. The bedsheets were dirty, stained, and smelled bad, which is absolutely unacceptable for any paid accommodation. The overall hygiene level was far below minimum standards.
The jacuzzi was another major disappointment — extremely small, very old, and barely usable. To make things worse, there was no hot water, making it completely pointless and misleading to list it as an amenity.
As if this wasn’t enough, the host attempted to force an unacceptable solution by asking me to pay extra cash outside the Airbnb platform in order to move to the room that actually matches the photos. This is a clear violation of Airbnb policies and puts guests in a very uncomfortable position.
Despite paying a high price, the compensation offered was insultingly low and did not come close to reflecting the inconvenience, stress, and disruption caused — especially since I was traveling and had an important commitment early the next morning.
This experience showed a total lack of honesty, cleanliness, and professionalism.
I strongly advise anyone considering this listing to stay away

I booked this room via Airbnb.
Mohammed, the host; was very welcoming and even accompanied me to dinner to show what an authentic Egyptian meal would be.
Upon returning from dinner, he provided extra towels and toilet paper since there was none initially.
Upon checking the bed by pulling the sheets and inspecting everything, unfortunately the bed was not cleaned or changed as there were many hairs throughout the sheets and pillow cases. I just brushed as many as I could away to sleep for the night because of how late it was.
The air-conditioning is perfect for someone like me that prefers ice cold environments to sleep in.
The bed is very firm and a bit uncomfortable.
The view of the Pyramids is amazing outside of the window and to be able to sit in the balcony to relax is great.
There is 1 lift and it works as expected.

This apartment exceeded expectations. From the sparkling clean rooms to the fast, easy check-in process, everything was perfect. The standout feature, though, was the incredible view—it felt like you could see the whole city from the window. The host made sure we had everything we needed. Felt like home with a 5-star view.

The host was super kind and responsive—made the check-in process effortless. The unit itself was cozy and well-maintained, but what really blew me away was the uninterrupted view from such a high floor. It’s the tallest building in the area, and you really feel like you’re on top of the world. It was a perfect mix of comfort and beauty.
