The Tap North

I’ve been to other branches of The Tap before and generally had a decent experience, but this time at The Tap North I ordered my regular dish buffalo chicken tacos and shrimp tacos .Instead of 2 big tacos with 2 big chicken strips in each taco. It became 3 tiny tacos with basically 1 chicken strip divided into 3 pieces , I genuinely had to laugh — the portion was comically small. I’m not exaggerating when I say it looked like a tasting sample, not a meal, especially considering the price.

I’ve always known The Tap to be on the pricier side, but at least the other branches served reasonable portions that justified it. This time, it honestly felt like a joke — the kind of dish you expect to be followed by a hidden camera reveal.

The vibe and service were okay, but when the food hits the table and you’re left wondering “Is this the starter or the garnish?”, it just ruins the whole experience. For what I paid, I expected a meal, not a miniature display.

Not sure if this is a one-time issue or a new trend at this branch, but either way, I won’t be coming back to The Tap North anytime soon.

Daughter wanted to return since last year but suddenly Kids are not allowed, we got an exception!! Items on the menu were not available (burgers , steak, diet cola)

The Tap is a place you should visit just for some wings and drinks. Main courses really aren’t their area of expertise.

Great atmosphere with nice music in a nicely decorated place.

The steak was properly cooked but lacked seasonings.

Wings and other appetizers were pretty average. I ordered a mushroom and swiss burger that was missing half a patty and the other half was incredibly dry and overcooked. Would definitely not recommend the burger.

The chicken was similarly dry but at least edible without drowning it in sauce.
