Great restaurant! Amazing food, it comes in several plates of fresh, very tasty high quality Bedouin food, generously served and more than one can actually eat. Cozy atmosphere, with outside garden also, run by a lovely family.

One of the best meals I’ve had in Egypt. It was on the road during our tour to B&W desert. Food was fresh and tasty. They say it’s all organic. Cute place with outdoor and indoor seating. Staff were friendly and efficient. Perfect place for lunch in a breezy afternoon.

So we did a overnight camping in the White Desert with Black Desert and Crystal mountain and sand boarding included. We were dropped off here for lunches on both days. I cannot say whether this establishment was part of the same company as the tour but I will review everything related. Food was decent. Fries were cold and some dishes were mainly luke warm. Tasty but lukewarm. Service was nice. Both lunches were a tad different. As for the camping and service, it was incredible. The team was so wonderful, fun and did everything to make our stay carefree from the sites, the sandboarding, to the campfire, meal prep and tents etc. I have no complaints at all. One of my most memorable times in Egypt.

I did a short review, but now I have the urge to change it… Because our marvelous dinner at Twist restaurant has become one of my most memorable moments of my trip!
Maybe we were lucky enough to be the only four people at the place. But I will hardly forget the delicious food of Twist. Local dishes with very fresh ingredients. So good and huge amounts of it.
After dinner we had tea together with Twist and we had a nice chat for about 3 hours… What a lovely guy, always with an honest smile.
How nice it is to find people like him while traveling. I’m so grateful. If I ever come back to Egypt (inshallah), I’m sure I will come again and visit Twist 🤗
