Tried to scam us before we even arrived. There was supposed to be complinetary taxi covered by the hotel and they tried to charge us 20$

HORRIFIC experience at this hotel. My husband and I chose this hotel for our honeymoon for the view. We arrived at 4am (we had communicated our arrival with the hotel prior to booking). We stood outside in a sketchy alley not sure where to go because check in instructions were not clear, and there was no receptionist or communication. After messaging and calling 20 minutes later, we were checked into the wrong room. We booked the suite with a hot tub and pyramid view. Instead we were given a small filthy room that looked like it was falling apart facing a brick wall. This kind of behaviour aligns with the “scammer” reputation in Egypt that other tourists warn us about.
Turns out, our hotel room was double booked. They gave our room to another person and shoved us into a spare room because we came “late”. We left the next morning!

Great views of the Pyramids. Easy walk to the Pyramids entrance. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast adequate. Unfortunately located on the 5th floor of an undesirable building on a dirty street and there is building materials, rubble and dust all over the entrance stairway. The lift only starts at the 2nd floor. For the price it is ok.

Hotel is located on 5th floor, close to Pyramids with amazing view from terrace.
Rooms are ok, basic equipment, with AC.
Breakfast is very good.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped us organize a guided Pyramids tour, and horse riding in a desert (if you ride a horse it is a must try)
Very good value for money.
