It was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Hotel was really clean, they provided us a room with clear pyramids view. They have rooftop and pool service included in price. Breakfast was adequate, we really liked Foul, it was delicious. The workers were really helpful, kind and nice, especially Ahmad. They provided us extra slippers, soap etc when we asked. We would like to stay there again if we ever come back to Giza.
Very unreliable hotel – misleading and unsafe experience
I had an extremely unpleasant experience at Gold’s Pyramids Hotel and strongly advise other travelers to be cautious.
Upon arrival, the hotel owner took us to a room that was completely different from what I booked. I had reserved a 25 sqm room with a large window facing the Pyramids, but was given a much smaller room (around 15 sqm) with very limited space. When I questioned this, the owner initially insisted it was the correct room, then later admitted that my reserved room had been given to another guest.
After that, the explanations kept changing. I was shown another room that was dark, humid, and far worse, then told conflicting stories about air-conditioning problems, and finally even pushed to move to a different hotel altogether. The lack of honesty, constant contradictions, and the owner’s aggressive attitude made the situation very uncomfortable.
Because of this misleading behavior and the way the issue was handled, I did not feel safe or comfortable staying there and had no choice but to cancel and find another hotel late at night.
This hotel is not trustworthy, does not respect reservations, and does not treat guests transparently. If you value reliability and peace of mind, I recommend looking elsewhere.
I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the view was absolutely stunning—directly overlooking the pyramids. The TV had Netflix, which was a nice touch, and the bathroom was spotless, with both hot and cold water available in the shower.
As a female solo traveller, I felt completely safe, and the location was very convenient. Breakfast was enjoyable, and while the hotel itself is quite small—with just a reception area and around eight rooms on the first floor—it offers a cozy and intimate atmosphere. Just keep this in mind if you’re expecting a larger property.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience—I’d definitely recommend it!
Brand new hotel near the Giza Pyramids and Gem museum. Super clean with well looked after rooms and amenities. Friendly staff with juice upon arrival. Thanks to Sofia the chef for a lovely breakfast! I Would recommend this hotel anyone trying to be close to the attractions of Giza. Way to go Gold’s Pyramids Hotel!
