The Pyramids Resort is a nice place to stay, the bathrooms are quite large and there is plenty of room in the accomodation. The pool is very nice, just be aware that when ordering drinks ar the bar that the price on the menu is not what they charge you. They automatically put down a set tip for themselves which is not something we were used to but it’s their main way of getting income so I was okay with it.
Great place! Lovely staff, very comfortable room, loved the food.
Be aware that the drinks will appear on your bill with a high price than on the price menu 😉
Very happy to recommend to others, including families with children.
Will come back.
Pretty hotel in the heart of Giza. Spectacular customer service, dealing with your questions or relocating you (which was our case) to other rooms in case of discomfort.
The food in the restaurant (referring to breakfast) is very good, buffet (self service) style but there is not much variance from one day to another so it tends to become boring after 2 or 3 days.
The public spaces are beautiful, large pool with a bar and live music during the nights and every little detail is very well taken care of. Regarding the rooms, that is where they are lacking a little bit of caring. We entered in a room where the sink was clearly broken and fixed using some cement-like mix but the cracks were easily watchable. When we switched to another room, the bathtub leaked water while taking a shower and the drain took a very long time to empty the bathtub.
The rooms are ok but I found stains in the bedsheets and that made me question the level of cleaning of the rooms. Open spaces very well taken care of but a lack of care in the rooms.
They have a “private” taxi service which will take you wherever you want, but remember to ALWAYS AGREE IN A PRICE before using the taxis.
Overall, it is a good hotel but there are some important details that need more attention.
The facility is safe with security measures put in place to protect guests. The meals are good to great. The staff is excellent. Though the layout of rooms is kind of dated and not friendly. The pool area is very nice at night for an easy and relaxing time with music and Refreshments.
The hotel had all we required plus more. Security at the gate and on entry was very soothing, providing a peace of mind that removed all thought of trouble. The porters and staff were helpful in every aspect. Our rooms were sizeable, clean and comfortable. There was no problem with the “Language Barrier”, were able to understand and be understood without too much effort. The resort was large and well laid out. Breakfast was well presented and plentiful. While we had an issue with a waiter at the poolside restaurant it was handled quickly and sorted. The experience was great and would recommend this establishment to anyone wishing to visit Giza.
