This hotel is fictional. (As of February 4, 2026)
I searched the area many times while I was there, but I couldn’t find it.
A kind person called the phone number listed on Google Maps, but they announced that it was out of service. When I asked the hotel next door, they said they didn’t know of any such hotel.
The hotel itself is just a small alleyway lined with apartment buildings.
I had originally booked a different hotel online, but they changed it to this one the night before (due to a typographical error on the website), and it ended up being a fake hotel…
Fortunately, there were plenty of hotels nearby, so I was able to find one I could stay at on the spot, but I was still pretty angry, thinking, “What’s the point of ‘enjoying’?”
When I searched, I found what appeared to be a website, and there was a chat option, but now I wonder who I was chatting with…?
I trusted the hotel because it was listed on Google Maps, but I was shocked when a local asked me if I had a photo of the exterior.
I’ll have to be more careful in places like this in the future.
This fake hotel almost turned my memories of Giza into a terrible one.
(The Great Pyramid Inn where I stayed at short notice was very nice, so it didn’t end up being the worst.)
