I had booked three nights, but after the first, I had to go somewhere else. The place is in a dead-end alley; it’s not a pretty place. You can see the pyramids from the terrace, but the room is dirty, the bathroom walls are covered in dust, and when you shower, water sprays all over the bathroom, soaking the toilet and the entire floor. There’s no partition between the shower and the rest of the bathroom. The only good thing was that the breakfast was delicious.
Starting with a positive note: the ‘hotel’ is very close to the pyramids with a beautiful view on the terrace. But the room was dirty (sand, dirt and ceiling paint falling off). I asked to clean the room to clean the dirt: but it was not done because they dont have a masterkey of the rooms (and we took ours ofcourse with us)
Scammers don’t believe them
Once u call them and pay they take you to another location
Not the same as shown on maps
The location they take you to is awful the smell is very bad
The way they treat you is very bad
Don’t believe them!!
And suddenly the electricity shut down
Located in Giza, about a 45-minute taxi ride from Cairo Airport.
Difficult to find as it’s down a side street behind another hotel.
The building was recently constructed and some parts are still unfinished. The reception area is absolutely minimal. The room is average, nothing special, with a fridge, television, and a clean bathroom. During my stay, I saw very young people among the staff and reception. The rooftop overlooking the pyramids is a plus.
The hotel has two names; finding it took a little searching, as it’s hidden behind another hotel. The service was provided by two minors who communicated with an adult. The older one told me he was 18, which I doubt; the other was 15. They were lovely, but you don’t employ children. Absolutely not. The bed was EXTREMELY HARD, it was ridiculous. The shower had a problem; it leaked from both pipes. We had a small balcony, but it didn’t overlook anything. Their advantage was a superb view of the pyramids, somewhat spoiled by the surrounding construction sites. Another advantage is that they’re a 10-minute walk from the entrance to the pyramids, which is good for avoiding the view of the surrounding buildings. The Wi-Fi was unusable in the room. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. I recommend it for one night before visiting the pyramids. However, the hotel is still under construction, so the surroundings aren’t very pleasant.
